ONE on ONE Bar Crossing & Safe Boat Handling skills by an experienced Skipper.

Training provided on the water in our fully certified MOSS approved Stabicraft vessels.

The Bay of Plenty region is located in the northern coast of New Zealand's North Island. It stretches an incredible 259km's, from the Coromandel Peninsula in the west to Cape Runaway in the east. The Bay of Plenty is home to some spectacular beaches, lakes and scenery.

Bay of Plenty Boat Hire has 2 x 1550 Fisher boats built by Stabicraft and an 1850 Hardtop, & a 2250 Walkaround Centrecab built right here in New Zealand. Boat Hire from the Bay of Plenty is available all year round.

The Locations

Lake Rotoma

Lake Rotoma is the fourth largest lake of the 11 lakes in the Rotorua Lakes district, or the Hot Lakes district as it is known. Lake Rotoma has a high water quality with visibility up to around 13 metres deep. The lake has a maximum depth of 83 metres in the northern part and 73.5 metres in the southern part.

Mayor Island / Tūhua is a dormant volcano located off the Bay of Plenty coast. It lies 35 km north of Tauranga and covers 13 km2. The northern end of the island is a marine reserve, making it a perfect spot for snorkelling and diving
